NatureCare® won’t wash or wear away and provides protection for the life of the feeder. The advanced patented acrylic formula is anti-yellowing and resistant to heat, detergents, chemicals, bleach and now includes antimicrobial properties as well!
Although it does not kill or prevent microbes; the antimicrobial inhibits the growth of dangerous microbes including bacteria, mold, and fungi to keep the interlocking removable tray cleaner between cleanings.
It provides another level of confidence knowing you are doing everything you can to protect your feathered friends. It is not a panacea, however. Experts agree that regular cleaning (recommended every two or three weeks) by sanitizing in a dishwasher or disinfecting via soaking in a 90% water to 10% bleach solution is the best way to keep your birds safe from diseases like Salmonella.
